Newmark Zimmer is passionate about supporting the Kansas City community.

ZimmerCares, the philanthropic arm of Newmark Zimmer, selects local organizations each year to support through financial assistance, volunteerism, and service projects. Newmark Zimmer employees participate in the selection process and plan numerous events throughout the year to raise money and awareness for the selected cause.

ZimmerCares began in 2011 with a Light the Night project organized by Ellen Darling benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since then, benefactors have included Autism Speaks, Catholic Charities, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Christmas in October, City of Fountains Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Harvesters, Hillcrest Transitional Housing, Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Zoo, The Kansas University Cancer Center, Lead to Read KC, Rainbow Center, Salvation Army and Wayside Waifs.
