ZimmerCares, the philanthropic arm of Newmark Zimmer, selects local organizations each year to support through financial assistance, volunteerism, and service projects. Newmark Zimmer employees participate in the selection process and plan numerous events throughout the year to raise money and awareness for the selected cause.

ZimmerCares began in 2011 with a Light the Night project organized by Ellen Darling benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since then, benefactors have included the Kansas City Zoo, the Humane Society, Christmas in October, Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities, Rainbow Center, the City of Fountains Foundation, Kansas University Cancer Center, The Salvation Army, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Autism Speaks, Harvesters and Lead to Read KC.

One of the foundation blocks of Newmark Zimmer is giving back to the community and we are fortunate to have employees and colleagues that help us achieve this goal.
