Staff Accountant | Kansas City

Basic Function: Provide professional accounting services that involve the application of established accounting principles, theories, and concepts. Maintain confidential accounting records of various assigned entities on a daily basis and prepare monthly and/or quarterly financial statements.  Assist with operational duties within the accounting department.

Education/Experience: BS in Business with a Major in Accounting. Experience with commercial real estate accounting preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage Software, and Yardi System. Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, detect and reconcile mistakes, and adapt pace to complete the required amount of work.


Building Engineer | Kansas City

Basic Function: Operates and maintains all building systems. Responsibilities will be carried out in a manner consistent with high quality maintenance and economical operation of the building’s equipment and systems. Ability to work independently most times with no on-site supervision. May be assigned to multiple properties and ownership entities. Similar mechanical skill-set as an Assistant Chief but does not oversee additional staff or perform managing duties. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergency calls.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 7 years previous building operations engineering experience. Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions. Proficient computer and email skills. Holds necessary/required licenses. Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.


Owner’s Representative | Kansas City

Basic Function: Support the management of development projects for third party clients acting as Owner’s Representative, which may include serving as client point of contact, leading a team of consultants, guidance and oversight of design, construction administration, FF&E coordination, and the management of project activities, budgets and schedules from project start through occupancy/turn-over.

Education/Experience: Preference of 5-10 years of related project management, commercial real estate development and/or construction management experience. Must have an undergraduate education in an allied field such as architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, real estate, or other related field.
