Newmark Zimmer Bolsters Kansas City Sales and Leasing Team with Additions of Kevin Puryear and Anna Long

Kansas City, MO — Newmark Zimmer is pleased to announce Kevin Puryear has joined the firm as an associate on the office sales and leasing team and Anna Long has joined the firm as an associate on the Industrial and Logistics Heartland Region team.
Puryear was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. While at University of Missouri, Puryear was a member of the men’s basketball team and was named team captain three times, a role earned through the respect of both his coaches and teammates.
Puryear gives back to the community by coaching youth basketball with KC Run GMC, the same program he played for in high school, which helped him earn multiple college offers. In addition to his love for coaching and business, Puryear also has a passion for sports broadcasting. Throughout the year, Puryear serves as a color analyst for the SEC Network during the college basketball season.
Long has joined the firm as an associate on the Industrial and Logistics Heartland Region team. Long will support the industrial group based in Kansas City by providing in-depth financial analysis and data-driven insights. Long is a licensed real estate salesperson in both Missouri and Kansas.
Long comes to Newmark Zimmer as a graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a Bachelor of Science from Trulaske College of Business with an emphasis on finance, banking, and real estate. Her academic background included specialized coursework in real estate appraisal and real estate investment trusts. Long held multiple leadership positions in student organizations, demonstrating consistent commitment to service, collaboration, and professional growth.
