Alexander Klaus

Alexander Klaus joined Newmark Zimmer in 2026 as an Associate in the Retail Brokerage division, based in the company’s Kansas City, Missouri office. His focus will encompass both landlord/owner and tenant representation throughout the Kansas City metro area, with an emphasis on Johnson County.

Though new to commercial real estate, Alexander brings relevant industry experience from a real estate services internship with Savills in Dublin, Ireland, where he worked in property leasing and management. He also draws on a strong management background, leaning on his relationship management and deal negotiation skills to serve clients.

While at the University of Kansas, Alexander served as General Manager of the Jayhawk Cafe (known as ‘The Hawk’), a century-old campus-area establishment, where he led a staff of more than 300 employees. He was also honored as a Whole Man Scholar by Phi Delta Theta’s national organization and attended Shaffer’s Honors College of Leadership.
