Equipped with experience approaching projects from the perspective of the architect, client and owner’s representative, Dan Wehmueller has a unique well-rounded perspective of project processes. His experience includes leading design efforts, the management of client needs, leading the client team internally and representing those interests externally. His background includes buildings of varied size, use and budgets.
Dan has been involved in two large scale civic building projects in Kansas City with budgets totaling more than $400 million as both the client lead and owner’s representative. As the Project Manager for Johnson County Facilities Management, he worked on the new courthouse project from conception in 2016 through substantial completion in 2020. With the transition to Newmark Zimmer, he continues to consult on the project through post-occupancy and additional site development phases. He is also actively involved with the new Jackson County Detention Center.
