Matthew McFadden

Matthew McFadden joined Newmark Zimmer in 2008 and brings more than 27 years of corporate management and global real estate experience advising corporate occupiers with geographically diverse real estate portfolios. His expertise includes transaction management, tenant representation, strategic planning and portfolio optimization & restructuring.

As Executive Vice President and Principal, Head of Occupier Solutions, and a member of Newmark Zimmer’s executive board, Matt provides senior-level advisory services focused on aligning commercial real estate strategy with broader business and financial objectives. He partners closely with executive leadership teams to deliver measurable cost savings, operational efficiency, and long-term portfolio optimization while allowing clients to remain focused on their core business.

Matt is recognized for his ability to assess large, multi-market real estate portfolios at an enterprise level and translate insight into practical, executable strategies supported by disciplined implementation plans.

Prior to joining Newmark Zimmer, Matt managed a 20 million–square-foot global real estate portfolio for Honeywell International Inc. He began his career at Sprint, where he managed a national retail and office portfolio.
