Newmark Zimmer’s Investment Sales and Capital Markets team successfully facilitated the sale of Southlake Technology Park, a 750,000-square-foot office development located at 11250 Corporate Avenue in Lenexa, Kansas. Spanning 300 acres, this expansive office and technology park stretches along College Boulevard from Interstate 35 to Renner Boulevard. As a result, it consistently attracts companies focused on recruiting top-tier talent while maintaining a high-end business image.

Moreover, Southlake Technology Park stands out as the first development in the Kansas City area specifically designed to enhance employee well-being and productivity. Consequently, the park fosters an engaging and stimulating work environment, which in turn strengthens the relationships between management and their workforce.

In January 2019, City + Ventures acquired Southlake Technology Park for $88 million and immediately began revitalizing the property. The acquisition included 784,557 square feet of office space across 11 Class A and B buildings, along with 45 acres of undeveloped land primed for future growth. Following this acquisition, they quickly initiated plans to upgrade the park with new building amenities, modernize Class A common areas, and develop the remaining land to meet the evolving needs of current tenants.
