Kansas City, MO

Newmark Zimmer successfully brokered the off-market sale of Stadium Business Park in Kansas City, Missouri, to Sealy & Company. This five-building, 276,000-square-foot, Class-A industrial park is strategically located adjacent to the I-70 and I-435 interchange. It houses notable tenants such as Amazon, UPS, JB Hunt, and Aramark, making it a key asset in the region.

Furthermore, the park’s proximity to the Truman Sports Complex, which includes Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium, adds to its appeal. Sealy & Company, based in Dallas, targeted this property for its central location, robust infrastructure, and competitive labor costs, aligning perfectly with their investment strategy.

In the transaction, Mark Long, President and CEO of Newmark Zimmer, along with Senior Managing Director John Hassler, represented Sealy & Company. Meanwhile, Mark Fountain from True North Industrial Realty handled the sale on behalf of the previous owner. As a result of this deal, Sealy & Company significantly expanded its footprint in the Kansas City area, now owning over a dozen properties totaling more than 1.5 million square feet.

The Stadium Business Park includes facilities built between the late 1990s and early 2000s. For instance, the 3601 Enterprise Drive building is leased to Amazon, while the 7460 Stadium Drive site hosts Tricor Braun. Additionally, the 3518-3522 Enterprise Drive space serves UPS and JB Hunt. The 3517 Enterprise Drive property accommodates Aramark and other tenants, and the 7410 Stadium Drive building is occupied by Weidenhammer Packaging Group. Consequently, this acquisition strengthens Sealy & Company’s position in the industrial property market.
