Standard Motor Products
Newmark Zimmer successfully represented Standard Motor Products in securing a significant lease at Heartland Logistics Park Building II, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion. This state-of-the-art facility, purpose-built for warehouse and distribution operations, is located strategically off K-7 and 43rd Street in Shawnee, Kansas. With a sprawling 574,732 square feet of Class A cross-dock space, Building II offers a modern, highly efficient environment tailored for large-scale industrial use. Its advanced design facilitates optimized warehouse workflows, ensuring seamless operations for tenants like Standard Motor Products.
The facility’s location in Shawnee provides exceptional logistical advantages. Positioned within close proximity to several major highways, including K-7, I-435, I-35, and I-70, it serves as a critical hub for distribution across local, regional, and national networks. This prime access ensures that Standard Motor Products can streamline its supply chain operations, reduce transportation times, and enhance its overall distribution efficiency. Additionally, Building II is part of a broader 113-acre industrial development, which will include future buildings. This will further enhance the area’s status as a premier logistics and distribution center, providing tenants with even greater flexibility for future expansion.
The successful negotiation and lease execution was handled by an expert team of brokers. Representing Newmark Zimmer, Mark Long and Nick Suarez collaborated closely with Newmark’s national team, including Louis Pascuzzi, Reid Halverson, and Frank Puskarich. Their combined efforts ensured a seamless transaction that met the specific needs of Standard Motor Products, while positioning them for future growth within this key logistics hub.
